Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you had to admit—both to yourself and to others—that you were wrong, simply because of your own prejudices? I’m not someone who rarely makes mistakes, but this time I was really, really wrong. So, get ready, I’m going to tell you a story.

From the very first moment, the lead singer, Sozos Michael, began warming up the audience in a relaxed, humorous way that instantly made everyone feel comfortable. What followed was a fantastic story about

battling the forces of evil, where each new song was a perfect continuation of the saga. The guys wore fitting costumes, and the entire time I felt like I was watching a captivating movie.

Each band member had their own character, accompanied by a matching song, and I had to finally admit to myself—I was enjoying it. The sound was excellent, and it became clear to me that these weren’t just guys in costumes, but a seriously well-rehearsed group of real musicians. Not to mention, for the first time in many years, I responded to the singer’s call to raise my hands or clap along. I even caught myself trying to learn the lyrics on the spot so I could sing with them. I could hardly believe it—I was having a great time. I even remembered the names of songs I especially liked, like Gloryhammer, Keeper of the Celestial Flame of Abernethy, Universe on Fire, and The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee.

And finally, there was a crowning moment—because the story had come to an end—and I was completely blown away. I didn’t even mind that they were fighting goblins or portraying themselves as wizards. The performance was over, and every detail had been executed to perfection. Now I understand: without the costumes and that contagious stage presence, the concert simply wouldn’t be what it was.

All in all, this Scottish band absolutely deserves all the praise. It was their first performance in Serbia, and for my own sake, I truly hope it won’t be their last—because I’d love to hear them again.
